I’m Gary Middlemiss. I founded and run Tanius Technology, a proprietary futures trading firm that trades its own capital. Before that I spent a long time building systems and doing math for a living, and that is still how I think about most problems.

Away from work: snowboarding, mountain biking, backpacking, classical piano, reading, math for its own sake, and time with friends. Mountains and desert, in roughly equal measure.
